Google uses magic to cut quantum computing errors
Google has found a way to cut errors in preparing quantum “magic states” 40-fold using a technique called magic state cultivation. Tested on its Willow processor, the method achieved 99.99 % logical fidelity, potentially easing a major bottleneck in building practical quantum computers.
